PAS 43 - Safe Working of Vehicle Breakdown & Recovery Operators

PAS was sponsored by SURVIVE and developed through the British Standards Institution.
 

SURVIVE is a partnership between the UK Government, the Police Service, motoring services organisations and the motoring industry. SURVIVE aims to improve the safety of breakdown and recovery operators’ employees and customers in breakdown and recovery situations.
 

The requirements within PAS 43 have been agreed by the major organizations within the breakdown and recovery industry.

PAS 43 is now an auditable standard and ACS Registrars is an industry specialist in this sector and fully accredited with UKAS to issue accredited PAS 43 Certificates which are fully acceptable to all motoring organisation / clubs, Roadwork contractors and Police.
